Description
Saint Patrick School is currently accepting applications for a kindergarten shared time position with Portland Public Schools. The successful candidates must be able to work cooperatively with staff to carry out the mission of St. Patrick Catholic School. They must be highly qualified with a current Michigan teaching certificate and comfortable with integrating faith and technology into instruction. The position salary is funded by both St. Patrick School and Portland Public Schools within the shared time agreement. The position also comes with teacher aid time within the classroom.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in oral and written communication
- Expert in multitasking and problem solving
- Current State of Michigan Teacher Certificate
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with teachers, parents, and administrators through professional communication
- Knowledge and consistent application of the legal and ethical practices of education
- Thorough knowledge and application of the principles and methodologies of effective teaching
