The Diocese of Grand Rapids supports and strengthens those who evangelize and accompany young adults as they encounter and follow Jesus Christ as missionary disciples.
The Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministries does this by:
- -Forming, equipping, and supporting parish and organizational leaders in their ministry with young adults;
- -Modeling and fostering a ministry of accompaniment among young adults of all cultures, languages, socioeconomic and geographic realities;
- -Forming and supporting young adult Catholics as they witness to Jesus Christ in their daily lives.

World Youth Day 2027- Seoul
World Youth Day is a global gathering where young people deepen their faith, experience the universality of the Catholic Church, and commit their lives to Christ alongside hundreds of thousands of like-minded peers.
World Youth Day Seoul is the next upcoming international gathering of World Youth Day. Taking place Tuesday, August 3 - Sunday, August 8, 2027, it will be the first WYD to take place on mainland Asia.
