Catholic Services Appeal

Catholic Charities West Michigan, God's Kitchen client and volunteer

Your gift to the annual Catholic Services Appeal helps faith to flourish. Thank you.

(en Español)

The Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) is the annual diocesan collection which supports the programs and ministries of our diocese. As a diocese of over 45,000 Catholic households, our financial gifts are joined together through the CSA in support of the following programs and ministries so that we may continue the teaching, healing ministry of Jesus:

Priestly Vocations
Catholic School Education
Cultural Ministries - Hispanic Ministry, Black Catholic Ministry, Native American Ministry
Catholic Charities West Michigan
Catechesis
Communication

The annual goal for each parish is calculated based on a percentage of their annual offertory and ensuring that each parish provides direct support to Catholic schools in the diocese.

Your gift to CSA supports:

Priestly Vocations

The future of the Catholic Church is dependent on men responding to God's call to this vocation in their lives. Your CSA gift supports the work of the Office of Priestly Vocations as they assist candidates in prayerfully discerning their call to become priests and walk with them through the joys and challenges of the formation process and ordained life.

If CSA helps support the Office of Priestly Vocations, why is the Our Shepherds-Our Future capital campaign needed? Learn more.

Catholic School Education

More than 6,300 students in 31 Catholic schools across our 11-county diocese are formed in our faith, educated for college and life, and provided with an environment in which they are welcomed and cherished for their unique gifts. Your CSA gift ensures that a Catholic school education is possible for all children through scholarship support and helps the Office of Catholic Schools in partnering with principals and teachers in the areas of policy, standards, training and curriculum.

Cultural Ministries

The Catholic community in our diocese is enriched by the faith and traditions of people of many cultures who come together to form the universal Church. Your gift to the CSA supports our Hispanic, Black Catholic, and Native American ministry offices which help to meet the sacramental, spiritual and material needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ through education, programming and outreach.
