Deacon William Charron, age 84, entered eternal life on May 22, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Diane, and four children; David, Debbie (Mark) VanDam, Carol, and Jennifer (Tom) Maj, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Clement Charron, and his sister Margaret Helen Brennan.
Deacon Charron excelled in his career at Kresge/Kmart Corporation, rising from the stock room to district manager. Later, he became the business manager for Holy Family Parish in Caledonia and St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish in Grand Haven. Deacon Bill was ordained on February 11, 2006, at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids by Bishop Walter Hurley. He was assigned to St. Mary Parish in Spring Lake for his entire ministry.
