Pope Francis has released his message for Lent 2024, “Through the desert God leads us to freedom,” which takes its theme from the Book of Exodus. In his message, the pope invites the faithful to “pause” for prayer and to assist our brothers and sisters in need, in order to change our own lives and the lives of our communities.
