Bishop Walkowiak announces the following appointments:
Father G. Fredrick Brucker, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Wright, St. Catherine Parish in Ravenna, and St. Francis Xavier Parish in Conklin, is granted senior priest status, effective Jan. 31, 2020. Bishop Walkowiak expresses sincere gratitude to Father Brucker for his 44 years of faithful priestly ministry.
Father Philip A. Shangraw is appointed administrator of St. Joseph Parish in Wright, St. Catherine Parish in Ravenna, and St. Francis Xavier Parish in Conklin, effective Feb. 1, 2020.
Father Ron Floyd, of the Diocese of Fall River, Massachusetts, is appointed parochial vicar of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Grand Rapids, as of Dec. 1, 2019.
