Bishop Walkowiak shares the following pastoral announcement:
Father Dominic Tirkey
Rev. Dominic Tirkey, at his request, will be returning to his religious community in India, effective Jan. 20, 2022. Father Tirkey presently serves as canonical administrator of St. Bernadette-St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish in Stanton and will complete his ministry at the parish on Jan. 19, 2022.
Beginning Sept. 12, 2008, Father Tirkey previously served as parochial vicar of Our Lady of Consolation Parish with Father Anthony Russo. He was appointed pastor of St. Bernadette-St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish, effective Oct. 1, 2010.
We are most grateful for the 13 years of ministry that Father Tirkey has provided to our diocese and pray that God will continue to bless him in his priestly ministry.
