St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, Marne

Location: St. Michael Church, 17150 88th Ave., Coopersville
Highlights: Annual Festival & Chicken Dinner. There will be a BBQ chicken dinner with all the trimmings. Take-out dinners are available, as well as an indoor and an outdoor picnic area. The festival includes a country store, raffles, grocery wheel, Kiddie Train, and many children’s games. New this year— a Variety Show! If you would like to share your talents, singing, playing a musical instrument, dancing, storytelling, etc. during the festival, please contact the parish office. The big raffle tickets, $5.00 each, offer a grand prize of $1,500. Second place receives $500; third place, $250; and fourth and fifth places receive $100. All are welcome – please join us!

St. Mary’s Parish, Spring Lake

Location: St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 406 E. Savidge Street, Spring Lake
Highlights: There is something for everyone at the St. Mary’s Parish Festival! Kids will love the Tootsie Train, carnival games, and face painting. Teens will enjoy the cake walk and dart booth. Adults can enjoy a beverage in the beer tent and listen to the live music. Stroll through the Car Show and vote for your favorite classic vehicle. Feeling hungry? Visit the concessions stand, the food truck, the cotton candy and snow cone table, or purchase something from the bake sale. Don’t forget to purchase tickets for the $10,000 Raffle, the Quilt Raffle, and place some bets at the Ham Wheel.
