St. Paul the Apostle is actively looking for engaging, reliable substitute teachers for classes at all levels from Toddler-8th grade. In this role, the substitute will cover for an absent full-time teacher, adhering to the day’s lesson plan and ensuring that students have a fulfilling learning experience.
General Responsibilities
- Follow lessons provided by the classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behavior
- Record attendance according to school procedure
- Compile reports for teachers including attendance, disciplinary actions, and positive developments during your time in their classroom
Qualifications
- Flexibility and patience in scheduling
- Confidence in giving instruction
- Passion for students and the learning environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- At least 18 years with GED or high school diploma
