Immediate Supervisor: Parish Manager, Academy Headmaster Department: Academy/Parish

Position Summary: The Sexton (Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor), in collaboration with Parish Manager and
Academy Headmaster, assumes responsibility over the campus at large, overseeing the cleaning of the Parish and
Academy whether through direct work or supervision of services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
● Ensure that the campus grounds and facilities are properly cared for.
● Coordinate all Church custodial duties, Academy custodial duties, lawn care, sprinkler and snow removal
contracts for entire campus.
● Manage all campus maintenance related vendor contracts.
● Coordinate Academy floor cleaning each summer.
● Propose a maintenance budget and collaborate with the office manager and comptroller in integrating it
into the parish budget.
● Ensure the Church is locked daily.
● Attend biweekly parish staff meetings and meet with Parish Manager and/or Academy Headmaster as
needed.
● Oversee Paladin program and expand the program into a year long work study program to assist the
maintenance team in accomplishing daily cleaning tasks.
● Assist with event set up.
● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
● Hard working.
● Self-motivated.
● Exceptional written and oral communications skills and strong attention to detail.
● Ability to prioritize among competing goals to execute on tight deadlines.
● Strong leadership skills; ability to work independently as well as on a team.

Preferred:
● Skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Google documents/forms
