About This Position
Muskegon Catholic Central is seeking a dedicated and flexible educator to join our team on an as-needed, part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about student learning and committed to supporting a faith-based educational environment.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of child development and current educational theories and practices
- Minimum of sixty (60) college credit hours completed
- Effective teaching and organizational skills
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to staying current with educational trends and best practices
- Practicing Catholic preferred
- Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required
Reports To PK–5 / 6–12 Principal
Essential Functions

- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction
- Plan and organize instructional materials and classroom resources
- Analyze student data to guide instructional decisions
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Maintain effective classroom management
- Collaborate with administrators and school staff
- Adhere to all teaching standards, policies, and safety regulations
