When families choose our preschool program, they are enrolling their child in a welcoming individualized nurturing environment centered in God and in service to others. We are a state licensed Child Care program that focuses on the individual needs of each child. Our Saint Joseph campus is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher. The position is a school year position that ends each June. Candidates have an option to move into a summer care teacher position if year round is desired. Our GSRP room is licensed for up to 20 students where you will assist the lead teacher.
Job Goal
The goal of a Divine Providence Academy teacher is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for families and children.The teacher will work in a collaborative environment to support children as learners and foster independence to get them ready socially and academically for Kindergarten
Qualifications for position:
- An associate degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; or
- A valid Center-Based Birth to Five CDA credential; or
- A valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential; or
- An existing 120 Hour approval letter
- A compliance plan actively working on a CDA
This is a school year position with the option of working in summer care outside of the school year.
