All Saints Catholic church of Fremont is looking for someone to share their time and talent building the education of our children and adults. We are a growing parish and school looking to adding an excited individual to support and maintain relationships with our parishioners and the continuing education of our children and adults.
The Director of Religious Education is responsible for planning and organizing religious education programs for preschool to seven grades, which includes selecting curriculum, recruiting and training of volunteer teachers, developing and implementing program budget, scheduling classes, and managing classroom facilities. This individual also plans and organizes regular programs in sacraments of first Communion, first reconciliation, and confirmation. Responsible for publicizing religious education programs for both children and adults. Maintains religious education records, files and logs, and prepares recurring and special reports. Works with the Coordinator of Youth Ministry, and is responsible for parish “Protecting God’s Children Program.”
Candidate will be a practicing Roman Catholic and active member of a Roman Catholic parish.
Position is exempt, approximately 15-19 hours per week.
This person is expected to be on site Sunday mornings when Religious Education class is in session – 10:00am-11:30am. Set office hours are flexible.
