Classroom Teacher’s Aide
Job Description:
St. Paul the Apostle is hiring full and part-time classroom paraprofessionals/teacher’s Aides. The teacher aide assists the lead teacher in planning and implementing learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of our children within a Christ-centered, safe, and healthy learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess creativity, energy, flexibility, and a love for working with all learners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in small group instruction
- Assist teacher in maintaining the classroom environment
- Assist classroom teacher in the preparation of materials
- Recess and classroom monitoring
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience working with children
- Must complete VIRTUS training, background check, and fingerprints*
- Must adhere to all federal, state, local, diocesan, and school policies
