St. Robert Catholic School is looking for an exceptional person who wants to work with all ages of students! We are looking for a teacher who wishes to share their love of art with our students starting in August of 2024. This is a part-time position with the prospect of more hours for the right candidate! This opportunity would include:
- Teaching Art 3 days a week to our preschool-6th grade students.
Job Requirements
- Position requires the planning, organization, and implementation of Diocesan
curriculum for the arts. - Meet the needs of all student levels.
- Work collaboratively with current faculty to integrate classroom topics of
learning - A strong classroom management plan that sets high expectations for all students.
- A teaching philosophy that aligns with the expectations of Robert Catholic School.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications
- Current State of Michigan Certificate or art background with teaching experience
- A practicing Catholic who upholds the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Be willing to work with Jackson Public Schools as a shared time teacher.
Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred
- Collaboration skills
- A heart for service
- Catechist Certification
- Virtus – Protecting God’s Children Certification
