Job Description
St. Paul the Apostle is hiring several part-time Child Care Assistants to work the after school care program for the entirety of the 2024-2025 school year. The start date for this position is August 19th. Hours will be 3:00-5:30 Monday-Friday. We are looking for assistants to work with preschool and school age children. This is a perfect opportunity for college or high-school students looking for some extra income. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications
- Over 18 years old
- Enjoys working with children
- CPR and First Aid Certified or willingness to be trained (employer will pay for training)
- Blood Borne Pathogens training (employer will organize training if not yet trained)
- Must have or willing to take Virtus – Protecting God’s Children Training (employer will organize training if not yet trained)
- Must have or willing to take Child Care Licensing Health and Safety Training (employer will organize training if not yet trained)
