Celebrated over four weeks, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 24 this year, Advent is a time of joyful preparation and conversion leading up to Christmas day and the season of Christmas that follows. The four Sundays of Advent this year fall on Nov. 28, Dec. 5, Dec. 12 and Dec. 19.
