Sensory-friendly Mass (bilingual), Norton Shores

Join us at St. Francis de Sales Church in Norton Shores on October 6 for our first bilingual sensory-friendly Mass. This Mass, offered in St. Francis Marian Chapel, is part of an effort to embrace and welcome the members of our Church with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Mass includes lower lights, softer music and no incense. St. Francis Marian Chapel is a soothing atmosphere with carpet and 100 soft movable chairs. Families and individuals are encouraged to get up and move if needed, to bring alternative seating, fidgets or noise cancelling headphones, and to participate in the liturgy just as they are.
