Red Mass for those in the legal profession

Organized and hosted by the Catholic Lawyers Association of Western Michigan for those who work in the legal profession around West Michigan. Bishop Walkowiak and Bishop Joseph Perry of Chicago will concelebrate the Mass which is followed by a dinner at which Bishop Perry will give the keynote address.
The Red Mass is a tradition in the Catholic Church which dates back to the 13th century. The color red signifies the Holy Spirit and martyrdom. St. Thomas More is the patron saint of lawyers.
