Philippine Madrigal Singers Benefit Concert

Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Jenison, and the West Michigan Asian American Association (WMAAA) are happy to announce the upcoming concert of the Philippine Madrigal Singers on April 29, 2023, to be held at the Holy Redeemer Church. The net proceeds from this concert will benefit the Holy Redeemer Church’s outreach projects to the poor and hungry and the WMAAA’s operational fund for its programs for the underserved Asian communities in West Michigan.

The fundraising concert will feature the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, popularly called “The MADZ” which was named UNESCO’s Artists for Peace, for “putting fame and influence at the service of UNESCO’s ideals and efforts to promote cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and a culture of peace.”

The MADZ has a broad repertoire of various styles and forms that includes Renaissance music, Classical music, Broadway music, Opera, and contemporary and Avant-garde music that will surely entertain a diverse audience.”
