An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 9, 2021
After Christ is baptized by John the Baptist, the Holy Spirit descends upon him in the form of a dove and God says, “This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). Immediately afterward, this same Spirit leads Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
Join the Saint Benedict Institute for four Lenten meditations – Feb. 16, 23, March 2 and 9 – that will help us to go into the desert with Jesus, to fast and pray and to confront our demons, armed with the Holy Spirit and the word of God.
