CANCELLED: Explore how to become a deacon

This event has been cancelled due to lack of interest. We will continue to explore ways to encourage men to consider becoming a Deacon for the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Men of the diocese and their wives are invited to a FREE dinner and presentation on Thursday, May 19, when Deacon Jerry Roersma, director of diaconate formation for the Diocese of Grand Rapids, shares details on the steps toward becoming a permanent deacon. This event will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 5149 Dowling Street in Montague, MI.  The evening starts with Mass at 6 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Peter Omogo followed by dinner and Deacon Jerry’s talk.
