If we don’t listen to the world’s stereotypes, myths and jokes about getting older, our maturing lives are filled with possibilities, growth, depth and joy, particularly in the things that matter. This Book Talk will explore some of the needs of this time of life.

Within these needs, we will have a chance to look at ways to deepen the uniqueness of who we are as daughters and sons of God, ways to enjoy the precious moments we have been given, ways to continue to develop a relationship with God and the many loved people in our lives, and ways to celebrate how we can share our exceptional presence and grace with others, making this world a more caring place. ($10 donation suggested.)

Sister Janet Schaeffler, OP is a retreat, parish mission, workshop presenter and is the publisher of the monthly newsletter, GEMS. She facilitates online courses for the University of Dayton, Boston College, and Vibrant Faith Catalyst; and a pastoral services team member for RENEW International. She was previously Director for Adult Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of Detroit.
