$30Deepen your understanding and love for sacred Scripture
The Catholic Information Center’s third conference of the 2021 Biblical Formation Institute on Saturday, Sept. 11, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., will explore the Pauline & Apostolic Letters of the New Testament. Participants can join via Zoom or in-person.
Father Seán Martin, Ph.D. will help us examine the letters that scholars consider having been written claiming Paul’s authority as well as the other letters written by apostolic figures. Participants will consider the literary character, structure, theological themes, and catechetical possibilities of each of the letters and their application to our lives today.
Father Martin is pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Rockwall, TX. Educated at the University of Dallas and the University of Notre Dame, he holds a doctorate in biblical theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. A life-long educator, he has taught students of all ages, including graduate students in theology and ministry.
