In conjunction with the USCCB, Bishop Walkowiak has asked for a special collection in the parishes of our diocese on the weekend of Sept. 12/13 to assist in relief and recovery efforts for those impacted by natural disasters in our country.
Please give as generously as you are able in your parish this weekend as you are arriving for or leaving from Mass. The option to donate online is also available by clicking the “Give Now” button below. Thank you.
Funds collected will be directed to the Bishops Emergency Disaster Relief Fund and will be used to support the work of Catholic Charities USA and/or Catholic Relief Services as they and their local agencies respond to immediate emergency needs by providing water, food, shelter and medical care and aid in long-term rebuilding and recovery efforts.
Please continue to pray for those who’ve lost loved ones, homes and businesses because of damage caused by Hurricane Laura and the California wildfires.
