Bishop Walkowiak announces the following pastoral appointments effective July 1, 2023 unless otherwise noted:
Reverend Peter O. Damian, pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Grand Rapids, is reappointed as pastor for an additional six-year term.
Reverend Darrel C. Kempf, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Pewamo, is reappointed as pastor for an additional six-year term.
Reverend Godfrey C. Onyekwere, pastor of Prince of Peace Parish in North Muskegon, is reappointed as pastor for an additional six-year term.
Reverend Peter G. Vu, pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Kentwood, is reappointed as pastor for an additional six-year term.
Reverend Michael J. Goodwin, canonical administrator of St. Mary Parish in Lowell and St. Anthony Parish in Saranac, is appointed pastor of St. Mary Parish in Lowell and St. Anthony Parish in Saranac.
Reverend Rock J. Badgerow, chaplain at Clark Retirement Community in Grand Rapids, is granted senior priest status, effective June 30, 2023.
