Much of Pope Francis’ papacy has been focused on the family – relationships within the family, as well as the pastoral care of marriage. On March 19, 2021, the Church celebrated the fifth anniversary of the pope’s post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation on the beauty and joy of love in the family, Amoris Laetitia. On that day, Pope Francis launched the year “Amoris Laetitia Family” which will conclude June 26, 2022 during the X World Meeting of Families in Rome with the Holy Father.
