Requiem by Gabriel Faure – Prayerfully remember those who have died

Traditionally, November is the month that we remember and pray for those who have died. The feasts of All Saints Day, All Souls Day and, Dia de los Muertos are opportunities to remember and pray.

This Veteran’s Day, plan on joining the The Diocesan Schola Choir and Catholic Central HS Capella Choir as they prayerfully perform the Requiem by Gabriel Faure within the context of a prayer service. The concert/prayer service will be Monday, November 11 at 7:30pm in the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. Members of the Grand Rapids Symphony will accompany the choirs as part of this service. This event is a perfect way  to prayerfully remember all those who have died. The service is free and open to all. Come join us as we sing our beloved dead into the paradise of God’s eternal love.
