Description
Saint Patrick School is currently accepting applications for a Fifth Grade Teacher. The successful candidates must be able to work cooperatively with staff to carry out the mission of St. Patrick Catholic School. They must be highly qualified with a current Michigan teaching certificate and comfortable with integrating faith and technology into instruction.
Required Qualifications
- The candidate should be a practicing Catholic living in accordance with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church with verification from a parish
- Proficient in written communication
- Expert in multitasking and problem solving
- Current K-5 or K-8 State of Michigan Teacher Certificate
- Virtus Trained or willing to become Virtus Trained
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with teachers, parents, and administrators through professional communication
- Knowledge and consistent application of the legal and ethical practices
- Thorough knowledge and application of the principles and methodologies of effective teaching
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
