Job Description
St. Paul the Apostle is seeking an educator interested in teaching middle grades (3,4,5) with a focus on ELA. The successful candidates must be able to work collaboratively with staff to carry out the mission of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. They must be highly qualified with a current Michigan teaching certificate and comfortable integrating faith and technology into their instruction. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications
- Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
- Proficient usage and integration of technology in the classroom setting
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of current Diocesean Standards
- Commitment to lifelong learning as demonstrated by attendance at seminars, in-services, and training
- Must have or willing to take Virtus – Protecting God’s Children Training
- The candidate should be Catholic and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church.
