Sensory-friendly Mass

Join us at St. John Paul II Church in Cedar Springs. (this Mass is usually held every first Sunday of the month at 2 p.m. however the February date was moved up to Jan. 28 as Father Lam will be away in early February)
Begun on Easter 2022, the diocese began offering this sensory-friendly liturgy in an effort to embrace and welcome members of our Church with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Mass includes lower lights and softer music. Families and individuals are encouraged to get up and move if needed, to bring alternative seating, fidgets or noise cancelling headphones, and to participate in the liturgy just as they are.
