Take an imaginative journey to Bethlehem through the Advent season preparing for the birth of the Christ child. Traditionally a time of reflection and waiting, Advent helps make a space available for God to speak to our hearts during this busy season. Using the imaginative method proposed by Saint Ignatius of Loyola, we will have the opportunity to create a quiet space and spend time reflecting on each of the Gospel passages proclaimed during Advent. Discover for yourself that “the Word of God has fertility for the future as well as for the time in which it was first uttered” (W. Ong). You will need a journal, or pen and paper.
