Bishop Walkowiak announces the following pastoral appointments:

 


Father Thomas Bolster, pastor of St. Gregory-Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Hart, has resigned as pastor due to health issues, effective June 30, 2019.

 


Father Stephen Durkee, parochial vicar of Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Rockford and Associate Director of Priestly Vocations is appointed Director of Priestly Vocations in residence at St. Robert of Newminister Parish, Ada, effective July 1, 2019.

 


Father Daniel Schumaker, parochial vicar of the Basilica of St. Adalbert-St. James and St. Mary parishes, is appointed administrator of St. Gregory-Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Hart. In addition, Father Schumaker is appointed co-chaplain at Muskegon Catholic Central High School, working with Father Matthew Barnum, effective July 1, 2019.

 

Deacon Michael Goodwin
Deacon Michael Goodwin
is assigned to St. Paul the Apostle Parish with pastor, Father Peter Damian, effective June 3, 2019.

 

Following the presbyteral ordination on June 1, 2019 and effective July 1, 2019:

Deacon Andrew M. Ayers
Deacon Andrew Ayers (now Father Ayers) is appointed parochial vicar of Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Rockford. In addition to his assignment as parochial vicar of Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Father Ayers is appointed co-chaplain at West Catholic High School as announced by Bishop Walkowiak on June 17, 2019.

 

Deacon Robert C. Mulderink
Deacon Robert Mulderink (now Father Mulderink) is appointed parochial vicar of the Basilica of St. Adalbert-St. James and St. Mary parishes. In addition to his assignment as parochial vicar of Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Father Mulderink is appointed co-chaplain at West Catholic High School as announced by Bishop Walkowiak on June 17, 2019.
