Bishop Walkowiak announces the following pastoral appointment:
Rev. Colin J. Mulhall, parochial vicar of St. Robert of Newminster Parish, is appointed administrator of Holy Redeemer Parish in Jenison, effective July 1, 2019. He will continue to serve as a priest chaplain at Catholic Central High School.
Bishop Walkowiak expresses sincere gratitude to Rev. Donald E. Weber who has served as administrator of Holy Redeemer Parish for the past year and for the assistance that Rev. Charles Fischer also provided to the parish.
In addition, Bishop Walkowiak announces that:
Rev. Dennis A. O’Donnell, pastor of St. Bernard Parish in Irons and St. John Cantius in Free Soil, has resigned as pastor due to health issues, effective June 30, 2019.
Rev. Michael M. Steffes, parochial vicar of the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Grand Rapids, has requested a leave of absence at this time.
