Description:
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic School is currently accepting applications for a Middle School Science and Religion Teacher. Candidates will be responsible for teaching daily sections of sixth, seventh, and eighth grade Science and Religion classes.
Required Qualifications:
● Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Church doctrine
● Current State of Michigan Teaching Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
● Current State of Michigan Certificate with a (DX) Science or (DI) Integrated
Science Endorsement in grades K – 8.
● Catechist Certification (Must be obtained within first 3 years of employment)
● Virtus Trained (Certification must be obtained prior to employment)
● Catholic School Experience (Student and/or Teacher)
