Administrative Assistant, Office of Catechesis

The Diocese of Grand Rapids is seeking an Administrative Assistant (full-time, 40 hours) to provide a variety of specialized administrative support services to the Office of Catechesis with additional duties as needed.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support, event coordination, and database management while creating a welcoming environment for visitors and callers.

Applicants must be knowledgeable of Catholic teaching and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet navigation tools, and other software applications. Must have a high degree of accuracy with typing and figures, superior attention to detail, clear organization ability, and the ability to multi-task. Candidates must be able to work independently and in a team environment with a professional demeanor and have the ability to relate to a wide range of diverse cultures. Fluency in Spanish and English helpful.
