Join Catholic Charities West Michigan (CCWM) for “Supporting the Essential” Giving Week June 22-28!

Essential Giving Week is an effort to raise awareness and funds for CCWM’s vital programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. CCWM has stayed open during this crisis and provided a variety of essential services to those in need. During this time, Catholic Charities caseworkers have been using videoconferencing and phone visits to assist their foster care and family services clients. God’s Kitchen is serving more than 300 people each day and CCWM’s Muskegon Food Pantry has remained open to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays each week to distribute boxes of groceries to individuals and families in need. But with the cancellation of three fundraising events that support their programs, an increase in number of clients served, and adjustments made for client safety, they need our help!

Visit their Essential Giving Week page, or follow CCWM on Facebook and Twitter to read stories from their clients and workers this week as well as view videos that offer a behind-the-scenes look at their adapted programs.

Every gift made will be matched up to $26,000 thanks to several generous sponsors including lead sponsor Beene Garter LLP, and supporting sponsors Macatawa Bank, the Diocese of Grand Rapids, Independent Bank, Meijer, the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, and the Freeburg & Mraz Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
