Flex your creative muscle in this part-time position on the campus of San Juan Diego Academy (SJDA), a Catholic K-8 school serving the children of Latino immigrants.
Further the understanding of SJDA’s mission and brand by maintaining the school’s Facebook Page and website, increasing usage, shares and posts. Create school documents including charts, graphs, reports, posters, fliers, invitations, newsletters and brochures, obtaining bids and interfacing with printers as necessary. Assist with special events and fundraisers, coordinating decorations, catering, rentals and RSVPs.
Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Google Docs. Ability to utilize your smart phone for photography and video production is essential as is proficiency in Canva, In-Design or other graphic and design programs. The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with high standards who is a discrete, detail oriented, self-motivated, conscientious, creative problem-solver that takes deadlines seriously.
Additional consideration will be given to Spanish speakers and members of the Catholic Church in good standing.
Reports to Development Director
19 hrs per week – 46 weeks per year
Occasional evening and weekends
Off the month of July, winter and spring break
$16 per hour + smart phone stipend
